Agricultural Communications

College of ACES & College of Media

Scholarships

Agricultural Communications Scholarships

The Ag Comm program offers scholarships each year to admitted and current students in the program.  These scholarships, awarded on the basis of merit and carry one-time awards of $500 - $1,000 each.

Agricultural Communications admitted or current students who wish to apply for one of these scholarships should apply by going to the College of Media Scholarship Application.

These scholarships are administered by a committee of personnel from ACES, Media, and an Ag Comm facult member.  One application will make you eligible for any one of the several scholarships we offer. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit as expressed through agricultural communications profession interests, efforts, achievements (including scholastic) and potentials in agricultural journalism and communications. This can and should be expressed in your essay on the application.

The application should also make you eligible for consideration for other College of Media scholarships depending on your interests (journalism or advertising).

The application deadline corresponds with the Media scholarships deadline of 3 p.m., Monday, May 7. Apply through this website.

College of Media Scholarships

Ag Comm students are also eligible to apply for Media scholarships. Agricultural Communications students have specific scholarships available through the College of Media for AGCM students.  The application through the link above will be used for determining AGCM awards. The submission deadline is Monday, May 7th at 3pm.  At that time, the online application will be shut off and all in-progress applications will be lost.  Please be sure to have your application submitted prior to the 3pm deadline.

College of ACES Scholarships
